The first NAAC Assessment of the college was carried out in the year 2004. The NAAC awarded B+ status to the college in the first cycle. Since then, the college has undergone many developments and appeared for the second cycle of Assessment in 2010. In the second cycle, the college secured B grade with a CGPA of 2.82.
In the third NAAC assessment, College accredited with CGPA of 3.06 on four point scale at A grade and is valid for five years from 1st January, 2020.
NAAC Assesment
The University of Mumbai is keen in maintaining the quality of teaching-learning in its affiliated colleges. The colleges are asked to submit an Academic Audit Report about various activities in the college during last four years in a prescribed format. On the basis of this report, the university carries out an academic audit of the colleges by sending a committee of academic peers. This committee consists of a former vice-chancellor and two principals. This committee also gives positive suggestions for improvement.
The Academic Audit of the ASP college was carried out on 19th March, 2015.The Annual Quality Assurance Report is an account of the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular happenings and developments during the concerned academic year. It also reflects the overall quality improvement and the focus of developments of the institution. It is mandatory for an accredited institution to submit the AQAR annually to the NAAC, Bangalore.
